Deck of Cards Workout: Plyo!
Hey y’all! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
It’s Monday, dreaded Monday. Time to get back into the work week and get that body moving again. Today’s workout is using a deck of cards for a quick and effective plyo sesh. This is great for those who don’t have a gym or equipment assessable to you; most people have a deck of cards lying around! It’s quick and effective and to the point!
You’re going to run through nine different exercise, using the cards added value as your rep amount. Once you run through the nine you’re going to repeat the set two more times for a total of 3 sets(or more if you want!). So, flip three cards over face up, add up their values and then complete the first listed exercise. Continuing on with flipping three more cards and working your way down the list.
- squat jump
- high knee
- mountain climber
- jumping jack
- push up
- jump lunges
- butt kicks
- star jumps
- bicycle crunch
card numbers 2-10 are worth the number of that card(3 of hearts= 3 reps, 9 of diamonds= 9 reps), Jack- King are worth 10 reps, Ace and Joker are wild cards–so they can be worth either 1 rep or 11 reps.
Here’s a little preview for ya, just so you get an idea of how the workout runs.

This is a GREAT idea, thanks Carly! I’ve been working out at home, without equipment – so I’m all about this!!
awesome! you can change up the exercises, add in/take out whatever works for you!
