three egg whites.
with fresh salsa.
and i forgot to take pics before hand, but i also had some greek yogurt with walnuts, blueberries, flax seed and honey. yum!
protein smoothie- ice, rice protein, frozen strawberries, splash of almond milk, splash of water, and ground flax seed.
along with an orange.
i had just gotten back from the gym so i needed to refuel asap. i’ll prob have a little something else, too. hardboiled egg?
i carb’d up. but it was so soooo yummy! lemon, garlic linguine with peas.
i am so bad at remembering to take pics during the prep stages of my meals, so bare with me.
i use whole wheat pasta(linguine today). cook it according to directions.
mince 3 cloves fresh garlic. add to a pan coated with EVOO. let it sizzle for a bit.
after a few mins of cooking the pasta, add peas to pasta water. continue cooking until done.
meanwhile, zest a lemon- add the zest to the garlic and EVOO. add some oregano, parsley, sea salt and black pepper. let all the flavors cook and blend together.
when pasta and peas are done, drain, add to EVOO, garlic, zest. squeeze lemon juice into mixture. toss to coat.
plate. sprinkle with some cheese if you so desire.
