A little about me:
Fitness and nutrition have been in my life for as far back as I can remember. I was the kid who was always outside playing or at practice(gymnastics, cheer, softball, volleyball, you name it), the one who wasn’t allowed to consume sugar until I was ten, the one whose parents put raw garlic cloves in her shoes at walking-age in order to absorb the powerful nutrients. A healthy lifestyle was introduced to me from day one. As I have grown and matured, I’ve developed a love and need for holistic wellness–mind, body and spirit. I believe in preventative medicine and the approaches taken from Eastern medicine. I believe that most Western/modern medicine approaches do more harm to our bodies than good, and that nature has provided us with the means to optimal health and harmony. I try to incorporate a number of Eastern medicine/ideas into my lifestyle and as you read and follow this blog I hope you are able to take something beneficial and life-changing away from each entry and add to your quality of life.
